The lichens of cedar elfin wood (Pinuspumila) tangles in Buryatia

Abstract

This article is devoted to lichens of cedar elfin wood (Pinus pumila) tangles, different types of woods with cedar elfin woods undergrowth in the Barguzin and Golondo mountain ranges, ridges of the Ulan-Burgasy, in the Chivirkuisky plateau, on the north-east and east coasts of lake Baikal. Such artic-alpine lichens as Flavocetraria nivalis, F. cucullata, Alectoria ochroleucal, Asahinea сhrysantha, A. scholanderi often sprout on rubbles in tangles of cedar elfin woods on the coast of lake Baikal, in mouths of the rivers Schumiliha, Kydalda and in the alpine zone of the Barguzin mountain range, in the Chivirkuisky plateau Masonhalea richardsonii, Solorina crocea, S. bispora, S. saccata, Cladonia bellidiflora sprout in the alpine zone of the ranges.
