Abstract
Data on the research of elemental composition of 7 officinal plant species growing in Darkhat Hollow (Northern Mongolia) are presented. The concentrations of 21 chemical elements in tissues of Gentiana algida, Gentiana macrophylla, Tanacetum boreale, Dianthus superbus, Juniperus pseudosabina, Saussurea amara and Polygonum viviparum wеre determined with the help of roentgen-fluorescent analysis (RFA).Most active concentrators are Gentiana algida, which accumulate Fe, Ni, Cu and Cr in green parts and Dianthus superbus, which store Si, P and S in tissues. These species may be considered as important sources of vitally necessary elements for the human organism and could be of interest for further research.
