Abstract

Production of gypsum at opencast mine Novonukutsky in southern Preangaria causes the degradation of soil cover in natural landscapes. Technogenic landscapes are created with specific soil cover which is composed by embryozems and technozems. Comparative analysis of morphological, physicochemical and chemical properties of soils in natural and man-made landscapes permitted to reveal their distinctions to define the trend and speed of soil formation.
