Vascular plants of Red Book in Irkutsk and the surrounding area

Abstract
A survey of plants of Irkutsk and the surrounding area included in the new edition of Red Book of Irkutsk region is given. The irregularity and lack of scrutiny endangered plant species is noted. Conclusions about the necessity of detailed examination of the forest zone of the city and the organization of population studies of rare plants are inferred.
