Abstract

Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. sepedonicus (Cms) is a phytopathogenic bacterium, which causes the Potato Ring Rot. In tobacco plants Cms induces a hypesensitive response – Plant defense responses upon pathogen attack. Potato and tobacco suspension cultures subjected to a light heat stress were inoculated with Cms. Our present results suggest that pretreatment with light heat stress may to induce plant resistance of further biotic stress.
