Abstract
Based on investigations of 2008–2011 the chemical characteristics of the soils in the right-bank forest-steppe Preangaria (on the example of Bokhansky district of Irkutsk Region) are given. The general analysis of soil pollution has shown the increased content of Pb, Cd, Zn (1st class of toxicity) and Cr, Co (2nd class of toxicity) on the territory, which exceed the clark contents 1.3–2 times. Chrome and zinc concentrations exceed the maximum allowable concentrations 1.1 and 1.2 times respectively. The average concentration of petroleum products in soils of Bokhansky Distict is 0,14 mg/g and is higher than in neighboring Zhigalovsky, Ust-Kutsky districts in 7 times. Near the landfill of Buret’ Village the petroleum products concentration exceeds the MAC 2.2 times. The background level of phenols varies from 0.14 to 0.98 mg/kg for different soil types. Phenolic concentrations near to settlements is twice as many as a background.
