Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of levels of hormones of the pituitary-gonadal system in women with parenteral acute and chronic viral hepatitis B and C in the light menstrual disorders from the perspective of general adaptation syndrome. We examined 125 women of reproductive age: 42 of patients with chronic viral hepatitis, 48 with acute viral hepatitis and 35 healthy controls. We determined the concentration of prolactin, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, estradiol and testosterone. We have identified some differences in the concentrations of the studied hormones in patients with viral hepatitis, depending on the nature of the menstrual cycle.
