Abstract

The aim of present study was an evaluation of lipid peroxidation processes under temperature changes in Baikal endemic and Palearctic amphipods and gastropods species. It was compared diene conjugates level, as primary products of lipid peroxidation in organisms in conditions of gradual increase and decrease temperature. Elevation of diene conjugates level was showed under gradual temperature increase in both amphipods species: Eulimnogammarus verrucosus (Gerstf), Gammarus lacustris Sars. Elevation of diene conjugates level under gradual temperature increase was showed for Teratobaikalia ciliata (Dyb.). In other gastropod species – Maackia herderiana (Lind.) was observed decrease of diene conjugates content. Under gradual temperature decrease, elevation of diene conjugates level was increased in both mollusks species. Exposition of amphipods didn’t lead to changes in lipid peroxidation.
