Abstract
On the basis of long-term investigations (2010–2016) the dynamics of density (ind./km²) and structure of the populations of birds in middle mountain areas of Primorsky Ridge in the winter season on an ascending branch of warming of a climate in a cycle, not below century level is analyzed. It is found out the density and structure of the bird population (quantity of species, their structure and density) are defined not by quantity of the species which are a part of the most numerous abundance categories (dominant, subdominants and others) and population density of concrete species in this or that category. Our results specify in noticeable variability of the main population parameters even in non-migratory bird species, which is not determined in most cases by intensity of reproduction. These parameters are often defined by dynamics and frequency of abnormal atmospheric phenomena both for non-migratory birds and for ones migrating on a wintering ground in southern areas. The relation of the basic changes in bird population with intensity of synoptic processes over the very large areas is shown.
