Results of investigation of aquatic true bugs and beetles which were collected in small ponds from valley of Sneznaya River are given in the article. The territory is located on the northern macroslope of Khamar-Daban Ridge and it is part of refugium of nemoral flora and fauna in Eastern Siberia. The material was collected from small lakes and temporary ponds of 7 different types. Earlier fauna of aquatic true bugs and beetles from the area has not been studied specifically. In result 6 species of true bugs belonging to 5 genera from 3 families and 11 species of beetles from 3 families and 9 genera was found. Most species of insects were collected in small shallow ponds with abundant vegetation and on water meadow. All species are widespread.
