Identification of the integration of tick-borne encephalitis virus genetic material in the genomes of humans and other mammals

Abstract
The aim of this work was to search for the presence of viral genome integration sites in the genomes of humans and other animals. With the computer algorithm BLAST homology was found between the genomes of tickborne encephalitis virus and some mammals. We suggested the possible significance of such integrations for the animals susceptible to this virus.
