Modern status of common cormorant at Baikal and Khubsugul (Mongolia)

Abstract
After more than 40 years common cormorant renews nesting at Lake Baikal (Maloe More Channel and Tchivyrkui Bay). During last 3 years abundance at Maloe More increase more than 200 times. At Lake Khubsugul (Mongolia) fast abundance increase during last 3–4 years was observed too. The main reason of such changes is redistribution of cormorants inside the area due to changes of environmental conditions in other area parts.
