Analysis of long term state of chironomides of rocky littoral in the region of Utulik – Murino (the site of Baikal Pulp and Paper Combine influence) is fulfilled. 85 species and larva forms are found. 9 endemics of Baikal were registered. The diversity of chironomides in discharge area is higher, than in pure area. There are many nonbaikalian species in the site of Baikal Pulp and Paper Combine influence. The changes of composition and structure of chironomides community are investigated. Alterations of taxocoenoses of chironomides are related both with natural changes, as well as with Baikal Pulp and Paper Combine influence.
