Sanitary and Microbiological Monitoring in the Lake Baikal Pelagic Zone and Baikal’s Major Tributaries from 2010 through 2015

Abstract
The estimation of sanitary condition of Lake Baikal aquatory and major tributaries was done as of from 2010 to 2015 using methods of sanitary-microbiological analysis of surface water-supply sources. Summer period in 2011 was bad in terms of sanitary-microbiological condition when excess of maximum permissible sanitary-microbiological attributes was observed throughout pelagic zone and estuaries of the majority of examined tributaries. Bad sanitary condition of river stations waters was fixed in spring period of 2011 and 2012 and summer period of 2015. Values of sanitary-microbiological attributes were in agreement with requirements of normative documents of RF in 2010, 2013 and spring period of 2015.
