Abstract
Problems of soil petropollution of Irkutsk region which remain till now unresolved are discussed and cause numerous discussions. The analysis of a modern ecological condition of Irkutsk region soils is presented. Influence of regional features of soils on degree of oil and oil product influence on soils and its consequences is underlined.
