A landscape approach to ecological monitoring in the splash zone of Bol’shye Koty Bay (Lake Baikal)

Abstract
This paper descibes spatial organization of the modeling territory at Bol’shye Koty Bay focusing on some environmental issues of the present landscape. Regular environmental observations are performed at four standard cross-sections of the splash zone, representing most of the ecological conditions on Baikal.
