This article is a review of Upper Preangaria relict vascular plants (25 species). Taking into account ecological peculiarities of the relics the species have been divided into two complexes: non-halophilic (11 species) and halophilic (14 species) with subcomplexes in each complex. For the species detected in in Upper Preangaria territory both taxonomic and areological analyses have been performed and species distributions has been mapped. The anthropogenic influence on the studied area has been described. The role of Red Lists in organization works to preserve relic species and the role of especially protected natural territories in protection of flora has been analysed. Existing measures on conservation of vegetation have been described. Creation of Especially protected natural territories with congestion of relic species and minimized anthropogenic loading has been offered for the region along with seed bank replenishing with rare and relic vascular plant seeds.
