Fecundity and embryonic development of Anisus (Gyraulus) stroemi (Westerlund, 1881) (Gastropoda: Planorbidae)

Abstract
Data on fecundity and embryos growth rate of Palearctic species Anisus (Gyraulus) stroemi (Westerlund, 1881) are presented for the first time. The peculiarities of these traits are considered from the point of view their significance for A. stroemi in expansion the shallow water zone of Lake Baikal.
