The article describes the features of renewal and growth of the seedlings of pine (Pínus sylvéstris) in the mountains of Eastern Transbaikalia. Studies were conducted on clear cuts in the three main forest types on fresh soils in the basin of the middle course of R. Khilok (inflow R. Selenga river). Severe climate conditions of Eastern Transbaikalia: lack of heat, moisture and irregular education pine seeds, delaying the process of natural education C. Coincidence abundant and wet years provides a good resume in shortened terms without changing the rocks. The research found that the growth of saplings affected by the type of forest, the resumption of the herbaceous cover and feeding areas than wetter soil, the thicker is growing undergrowth, the less biomass of trees.
