For the first time the conifers shoots Taxocladus ketovae Tesl. and Elatocladus manchuricus (Yok.) Yabe are found in the Jurassic sediments of the Irkutsk coal basin by A. I. Kiritchkova and T. A. Travina [11]. Images and descriptions of these species are absent in this paper. Given the rarity of shoots Taxocladus and Elatocladus finds, the descriptions of the Irkutsk specimens are necessary for identification and especially for comparison of finds of the same species from different geographically remote locations as well as for paleogeographic reconctrustions. In this regard, the paper presents the detailed descriptions of the plants remains collected by authors from the Jurassic sediments of the Irkutsk coal basin and gives a comparison with other close species.
